We’re pleased to share that our South America Rainforest track is now open for visiting!
One of two key zoo tracks affected by the recent flooding in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, our incredible kaimahi (staff) have worked hard to ensure it is safe and ready for you to enjoy this weekend.
Te Wao Nui (our New Zealand track), the KidZone playground area and our Old Elephant House restaurant currently remain closed until further clean-up and safety assessments are completed. To find out what areas you can visit, please check our updated zoo map.
Tickets are available online and onsite at the Zoo. You can find our current ticketing information here.
N/B: There is a risk of further severe weather from Sunday, so please check our website and that it is safe to travel before heading to the Zoo.
